Can you tell me your colour palette for this portrait? I’m considering a portrait of my year old grand daughter and love the colours you’re using here.

Sure! I use Prismacolors, and my palette is:

    Beige
    Peach
    Salmon Pink
    White (for burnishing)
    Light Peach
    Copenhagen Blue (darker shadows)
    Blue Slate (highlights)
    Warm Gray 10 & 20% (eye shadows)
    Sienna Brown
    Terra Cotta
    Light Umber (Hannah’s hair)
Deco Pink (of which I have only a tiny stub left…need to find an alternative since its been discontinued)
    Rosy Beige
    Dark Green (shadows)
    Pink Rose
    Blush Pink
Cream (for transition between pinks and white)
    Sand (hair)
    Parma Violet (cool shadows)
Dark Umber (usually layered with copenhagen blue for very dark areas)
    Grayed Lavender (Nate only)
Scarlet Lake (to warm up shadows)
